Welcome to Fishdom, the only place to create your very own aquarium from an empty glass case to a thriving fishy heaven. With lots of options to customise your tanks and a fantastic style of match 3 game you are in for a real treat.
From just enough money to purchase your own fish you will be able to grow a tank full of beautiful treasures and wonderful tropical fish. The store is divided into 3 sections, Fish, Beauty and Comfort. The Fish are the choices you have for the tank, the beauty section covers decorative items and the comfort section provides everything your fish need.
As you purchase each style of item your bar will fill up, once all 3 are full you will receive a trophy and be able to open up a new tank. Each tank also has 3 levels of trophy and you can complete 1 or move on as you wish.
Your fish will tell you if they feel that the tank needs something specific by showing you a picture of it as they swim around. In order to keep them happy you will need to balance what you purchase, too many fish or not enough comfort items can be bad for your tank and make them un happy.
In order to earn coins you are able to play a really nice match 3 style game. The aim of each level is to remove the gold tiles that are under the sea creatures. These are removed by making a match of 3 or more over the top. Each square involved in the match will be cleared of gold.
If you manage to match 5 fish in 1 go you will also get a bomb, that will clear 3 squares in every direction around it. As well as these during the cascades after you get a match, if you manage to catch 6 or more tiles in 1 go you will get a free mini bomb that does 1 square.
Blowing up 7 bombs in a single level will create a lightning orb. This orb can be matched with any of the sea creatures, removing them all. In this case choose your fish carefully to remove as many gold squares as you can.
Each level is on a timer, but don’t worry you have lots of time to complete each level, and if you need to leave the computer you can pause a game and come back to it. The faster that you finish a level the more coins that you can earn.
As you play through higher levels there squares require more matches to get to the gold, or sometimes the creatures will be locked and you need to match them to break the chains. This adds a really fun element to an already great game.
The graphics are really smooth for this style of game, and its great fun to play. With really nice artwork for the aquariums and fully animated fish that swim around your tank. As you progress you can also save a picture of your tank as a screenshot.
Although Fishdom is not free you have a 1 hour trial at no cost, so you can see if you like the game. Once you finish the trial you have the option to purchase the game. Once you do you can play whenever you like, there are no other costs or extras involved.
Fishdom is a very nice game and enjoyable to play. The match 3 style is unique and flows at a really relaxed pace. Creating your perfect aquarium is fun and earning coins is easy to do, though once you play a level you can not go back to play it again.
